Life coaching is a process in which a coach helps individuals to identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and make positive changes in their lives. In coaching with me you will gain insights into your specific values, strengths, and skill sets and how you can utilize those/lean into them for alignment in your endeavors.
We will identify barriers getting in the way of what you hope to achieve. I will help you confront and move past those barriers through thoughtful conversation, impactful questions, accountability, and action planning.
You are an open minded and motivated thinker who feels stuck. You know there is something more and are searching for answers. You’ve achieved and feel guilty that it doesn’t feel like enough. Is this what it’s all about? Shouldn’t you be happy? You're overwhelmed and weighed down by expectations, paralyzed by all of the decisions and information.
Maybe you have a specific problem or life issue you want to work through or maybe you’re looking to find a deeper sense of self. Maybe you’re feeling discontent or like something isn’t aligned in your life but you can’t quite put your finger on it. Therapy for those not using insurance is an investment of $150 per session and $200 for initial Intake. I accept Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, Oscar Health, Oxford, and soon, BCBS of Michigan. If I am not in network with your insurance provider, you may check with your provider and inquire about coverage via a super bill provided by me.

Coaching and Therapy have overlap. Coaching tends to focus more on the present and future, empowering you to achieve and meeting specific goals. Therapy focuses more on the past, present, and future. It explores mental health and healing deep seated issues. Therapy focus on “why” certain behavioral patterns occur. Coaching looks at “how” to work toward a goal.
Somatic Breathwork uses focus on breath and trauma-informed techniques to help individuals find deeper understanding and liberation from the stress & overwhelm that lies unprocessed in the body so that we become free in our mind. It works well with coaching, therapy, and on its own. Somatic Breathwork combines multiple modalities including the Physiology of Trauma and Stress, Emotional Release Breathwork, Neuro-Linguistic Programming Communication Skills, and Trauma-Informed Touch Techniques.
Yes - there are contraindications to doing almost anything. That being said, breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with a history of:
Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breath-work without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.
